I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Western Carolina University and am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Social Work. I am a member of the Phi Alpha Society for Social Work. My professional journey in the mental health field began in a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF), where I specialized in behavior modification with pre-adolescents and adolescents who have experienced complex traumas.

I then worked with Treatment Alternatives for Sexualized Kids (TASK), providing case management and social skill building services to children. Most recently, I have served with the Department of Social Services, conducting investigations involving child abuse and neglect. Having worked in the social work and mental health areas for more than ten years, I have a strong desire to help people on their path to wellbeing.

I am excited to be completing my internship at Emerge Child and Family Counseling, where I will further develop my skills helping individuals and families. My ultimate goal is to obtain clinical licensure, enabling me to dedicate myself full-time to providing therapy services. I am deeply committed to supporting individuals affected by mental health issues and trauma, and I am passionate about creating a safe and empathetic environment for those I work with to heal and grow.

I look forward to working with you and supporting your journey towards wellness.
