Brittany Allman Clinician Autism

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate who embraces walking alongside clients and providing support on their journey of self discovery. I graduated with a Bachelors in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and obtained a Masters in Social Work from Florida State University.

I specialize in working with children, adolescents, adults, and children with special needs. My areas of experience include trauma, anxiety, and depression. My background as a court advocate gave me an in-depth understanding of working with families in domestic violence situations that I incorporate into my clinical work. I have a passion for working with children who have autism or spectrum-disordered diagnoses. I gained experience in this area while working at an ABA clinic as a Certified Registered Behavioral Technician.

To further my experience working with children, I interned with Cabarrus County Schools in the role of an intern school counselor. After graduation, as a prevention social worker with Cabarrus County Division of Health and Human Services,

I focused my clinical work on prevention services with at-risk families in crisis. My approach to therapy is strength-based solution focused therapy as well as client-centered therapy. Some interventions I use include mindfulness, grounding practices, and coping skills. I am passionate about a balanced lifestyle, and in my free time I enjoy hiking, photography, traveling, going to concerts, spending time with friends, family, and my dog Piper!
